One of the first songs written together, which has since had a perennial presence on our setlists. Jake’s lyrics take inspiration from the sense of history and magic pervading ideas of Britain’s pagan past, infused with the feeling of homely benevolence that we can experience in natural landscapes. This is underpinned and accentuated by Jeremy and Fran’s melodic, dreamy duet of guitar and accordion.
